The Spectrum of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean “cruise to nowhere,” was the latest to be caught up in the growing cluster. According to the South China Morning Post, the ship returned to harbor at 8 a.m. Wednesday, a day early, and its 2,500 passengers were waiting aboard to get tested. The cruise was designed as an answer to Hong Kong’s tough quarantine rules, allowing passengers to replicate the feeling of travel without leaving the city’s borders and thus being subjected to a 21-day hotel quarantine.
